Delicious chicken chow mein with a flavorful chow mein sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of cooked chow mein noodles
- 1 pound of chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup of bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup of broccoli florets
- 1 cup of carrots, julienned
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until browned.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots; stir-fry until tender.
- Add chow mein noodles to the pan.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
- Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables; stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add green onions on top before serving.
- You can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
