Delicious chicken chow mein with a flavorful chow mein sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked chow mein noodles
  • 1 pound of chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup of bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • 1 cup of carrots, julienned
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots; stir-fry until tender.
  5. Add chow mein noodles to the pan.
  6. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
  7. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables; stir well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy.

  • For extra flavor, add green onions on top before serving.
