Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Oil for frying
- Syrup for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form batter.
- Heat a waffle maker and pour in batter, cooking until golden brown.
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk and spices for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan, then fry chicken until golden and cooked through.
- Serve chicken on top of waffles and drizzle with syrup.

- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For extra crunch, double-dip chicken in flour before frying.
