A homemade version of the popular Chick-fil-A crispy chicken sandwich.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- Butter for toasting
- Dill pickles
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in pickle juice for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix milk and marinated chicken in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Dip chicken in the flour mixture, coating well.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast the hamburger buns in butter until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich with chicken and dill pickles.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked through.
- For extra crunch, double coat the chicken.
