Delicious chewy pecan pie bars with a rich filling and a buttery crust.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine chopped pecans, corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or cold.
- Add chocolate chips for extra flavor.
