- 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz)
- 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz, undrained)
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick, melted)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a baking dish, spread the cherry pie filling evenly on the bottom.
- Pour the crushed pineapple over the cherry filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle nuts on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- This cake is best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
