Description
A simple and delicious cherry dump cake that requires minimal effort.
Ingredients

- 1 can of cherry pie filling (21 oz)
- 1 box of yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cherry filling.
- Cut the butter into slices and place them evenly on top of the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Can substitute cherry pie filling with other fruit fillings.
