A sweet pastry filled with cherry and cream cheese mixture.

- 1 package puff pastry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture on each pastry square.
- Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm for best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute other fruit fillings.
