A delicious cherry cheese coffee cake perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add softened butter and egg, mix until combined.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake base.
- Add cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
