A creamy and cheesy dish made with layered potatoes.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, cheese, and cream mixture.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Use Yukon Gold potatoes for best results.
- Add cooked bacon for extra flavor.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
