Ingredients

  • Cheese ravioli: 500 grams (fresh or frozen)
  • Marinara sauce: 700 milliliters
  • Ricotta cheese: 250 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese: 300 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese: 100 grams, grated
  • Fresh spinach: 200 grams, chopped
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh basil: 1/4 cup, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried basil)
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish, then layer cheese ravioli, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the sautéed spinach, and more marinara sauce.
  4. Repeat the layering process with another layer of ravioli, remaining ricotta, sautéed spinach, and marinara sauce, finishing with a final layer of ravioli.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
