A comforting cheesy pasta bake that is easy to prepare and delicious.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g pasta
  • 200g cheese, grated
  • 100g mozzarella, sliced
  • 500ml marinara sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  4. Add marinara sauce, salt, and pepper to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and half of the grated cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and mozzarella slices.
  8. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  • You can add vegetables or cooked meat for extra flavor.
