A savory and cheesy green bean casserole with a cheddar bay biscuit topping.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, and milk.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine biscuit mix, water, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the green bean mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh or frozen green beans, but thaw frozen beans before use.
- Can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken soup.
