Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, and milk.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine biscuit mix, water, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the green bean mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Use fresh or frozen green beans, but thaw frozen beans before use.
  • Can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken soup.
