Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 batch cheddar bay biscuit mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  4. Add carrots and celery; cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp, crab meat, seafood stock, heavy cream, and seasoning; stir well.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer the seafood mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Prepare the cheddar bay biscuit mix according to package instructions.
  9. Dollop the biscuit dough on top of the seafood mixture.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
