Ingredients

- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup tomatillos, husked and chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Marinate flank steak with olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Grill steak for 6-8 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steak from grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine avocados, tomatillos, cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeño to make the salsa verde.
- Slice the steak against the grain.
- Serve steak topped with avocado salsa verde.

- Adjust spice level by adding more jalapeño.
