Description
A refreshing sorbet combining the flavors of cardamom and plum.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe plums, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until dissolved.
- Add chopped plums and cardamom. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Add lemon juice and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Scoop and serve the sorbet.
Notes
- Use ripe plums for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar according to sweetness preference.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
