Description

A refreshing sorbet combining the flavors of cardamom and plum.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe plums, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until dissolved.
  2. Add chopped plums and cardamom. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Add lemon juice and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
