Description

A creamy and flavorful dip made with caramelized onions and Gruyere cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Add caramelized onions and Gruyere cheese to the mixture.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
