Description

A delicious caramel apple stuffed French toast casserole.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Cut the bread into cubes and place half in the dish.
  4. Mix apples, caramel sauce, and cinnamon; pour over the bread.
  5. Add remaining bread on top.
  6. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and spices; pour over bread.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve with extra caramel sauce.
