Ingredients

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and salt. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add pecans and vanilla extract to the saucepan. Stir to coat the pecans.
- Spread the pecans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fragrant.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
