Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries to the boiling sugar water.
- Cook for 5 minutes until cranberries begin to pop.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Drain cranberries and spread them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let them cool and dry for at least an hour.
