Description
Delicious cake pops decorated for Christmas.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of frosting
- 1 bag of chocolate candy melts
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave.
- Dip the lollipop sticks into the melted chocolate, then insert them into the cake balls.
- Dip the cake pops into the melted chocolate and coat evenly.
- Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the cake pops cool and harden before serving.
Notes
- Use different colors of candy melts for variety.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Make sure the cake is completely cooled before crumbling.
