			- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey with melted butter and Cajun seasoning.
- Place the chopped onion, celery, and carrots inside the turkey cavity.
- In a roasting pan, add chicken broth and place the turkey on a rack.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
