- 1 lb Cajun sausage, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
