Description

A spicy and creamy pasta dish with cajun-seasoned chicken.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with cajun seasoning.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  5. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  6. Add onion and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until soft.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  10. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve hot.
