Description
A spicy and creamy pasta dish with cajun-seasoned chicken.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- Add onion and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until soft.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
- Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Use shrimp instead of chicken for variation.
- Add more vegetables as desired.
