Ingredients

  • 4 large artichokes
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the artichokes and remove the tough outer leaves.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the mixture into the artichokes, packing it tightly.
  5. Place stuffed artichokes in a baking dish and add water to the bottom.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
