- 4 large artichokes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim the artichokes and remove the tough outer leaves.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mixture into the artichokes, packing it tightly.
- Place stuffed artichokes in a baking dish and add water to the bottom.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Choose artichokes that are firm and heavy.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in the oven for best results.
