- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat it in the flour mixture.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the chicken lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
- Let the chicken marinate overnight for better flavor.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For extra crunch, double dip the chicken in buttermilk and flour.
