A delicious treat combining chocolate, caramel, and crunchy textures.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup chopped Butterfinger candy bars
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stir until mixture boils.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Mix in crispy rice cereal and chopped Butterfinger bars until well combined.
  5. Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  7. Spread melted chocolate over the top of the bars.
  8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container.
  • For a more intense flavor, add extra Butterfinger pieces on top.
