Delicious homemade Butterfinger caramel candy bars.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add sugar and corn syrup, stirring until combined.
  3. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  5. Add crushed cornflakes and mix well.
  6. Spread mixture in a greased pan.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and pour over caramel.
  9. Let cool and cut into bars.
