Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk milk and egg together.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until you form a dough.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Shape dough into small balls and fry until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
