Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • 1 package of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
  7. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cooled cake.
  8. Roll the cake tightly from one end to the other.
  9. Chill the roll in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  10. Melt chocolate chips and shortening together.
  11. Remove the roll from the refrigerator and dip it in the melted chocolate.
  12. Let the chocolate set before slicing.
