Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Steam the broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to create a roux.
  4. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
  5. Stir in cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine macaroni, broccoli, and cheese sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
