- 200g rolled oats
- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g brown sugar
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter, sugar, and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the rolled oats and mix well until combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for variation.
