Description

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 2 cups of chopped spinach
  • 1 cup of cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 4 slices of cubed bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned, then set aside.
  3. Sauté the diced onions and bell peppers for 5-7 minutes, then add the spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked sausage, sautéed vegetables, and cubed bread to the egg mixture, then fold in the cheddar cheese.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes, then cut into squares and serve warm.
