A simple and hearty breakfast option made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 4 cups water or milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
- Combine oats, water or milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in the crockpot.
- Add diced apples and raisins.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve warm, topped with additional fruit or nuts if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Feel free to substitute other fruits.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
