Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and heavy cream.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.
- Add butter and vanilla extract, then stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
- Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan and let cool.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Allow fudge to cool completely before cutting.
