- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon sage
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a large skillet.
- Add onion and celery, cooking until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pour vegetable broth over the bread mixture.
- Add cooked onion and celery to the bowl and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- You can add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
