- 4 cups turkey or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup drippings from roasted turkey
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and whisk for about 2 minutes until golden.
- Slowly pour in the broth while whisking to prevent lumps.
- Add the turkey drippings and continue to whisk.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot over turkey and sides.

- You can use vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
