- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for greasing the dish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Add half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Add the remaining potatoes on top.
- Pour the rest of the cream mixture over the second layer.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Pair with a salad for a complete meal.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
