Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Add half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Add the remaining potatoes on top.
  8. Pour the rest of the cream mixture over the second layer.
  9. Top with remaining cheese.
  10. Bake for 45-60 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
