Ingredients

- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine rice, milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add vanilla extract and raisins, if using. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or chilled.
- Top with additional cinnamon or fresh fruit if desired.
