- 8 oz lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in the dish.
- Repeat layers, finishing with marinara sauce and Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

- Use fresh basil for added flavor.
- Allow leftovers to cool completely before refrigerating.
