  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, water, and salt.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.
  3. Continue cooking without stirring until the mixture turns a deep amber color, about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
