- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
- Scoop the avocado into a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Add lime juice and salt to the mashed avocado.
- Mix in the onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and jalapeno if using.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
