- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water

- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1/4 cup milk

Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, water, onion, carrots, celery, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Remove the chicken, let it cool, then shred the meat.
- Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk and melted butter to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
- Serve hot.
