Description

Beef Noodle Soup is a comforting dish that combines tender beef, flavorful broth, and soft noodles, popular in many cultures, especially in Asian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Beef: 500 grams, thinly sliced (sirloin or flank steak)
  • Noodles: 250 grams (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • Soy Sauce: 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Green Onions: 4, chopped
  • Beef Broth: 500 milliliters
  • Sesame Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Mixed Vegetables: 200 grams (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • Salt and Pepper: to taste
  • Cooking Oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat 500 milliliters of beef broth in a large pot over medium heat, adding ginger and garlic for flavor. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook 250 grams of egg noodles in salted boiling water for 4-6 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  3. Marinate 500 grams of thinly sliced beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and a pinch of pepper for 15-20 minutes, then stir-fry in 1 tablespoon of cooking oil for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the stir-fried beef and 200 grams of mixed vegetables to the simmering broth and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gently add the cooked noodles to the pot, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Overcooking the noodles can ruin the texture; they should be al dente.
  • Use high-quality beef for the best flavor and texture.
  • Marinating the beef enhances its flavor.
  • Balance the flavors of the broth before serving.
  • Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
