Description

A hearty beef enchilada bake that combines flavors of beef, cheese, and spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10 oz) red enchilada sauce
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture.
  4. Spread a layer of enchilada sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Layer 4 tortillas, half of the beef mixture, and a layer of cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
