- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until cooked through.
- Stir in sauerkraut, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each triangle, top with cheese.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and pinch to seal.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
