A simple and delicious beef au jus recipe that enhances the flavor of roasted beef.
Ingredients

- 3 pounds beef roast
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- In a large pan, sear the roast on all sides until browned.
- Remove the roast and add the onion and garlic to the pan.
- Cook until softened, then add the red wine and scrape the bottom of the pan.
- Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then return the roast to the pan.
- Cover and roast in the oven for about 2 hours or until tender.
- Remove the roast and let it rest before slicing.
- Strain the liquid to make the au jus.

- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
- Let the beef rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
