Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of yellow candy melts
  • 2 tablespoons of black food coloring
  • 1 package of lollipop sticks
  • Edible eyes
  • Yellow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Bake the cake and let it cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  4. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix well.
  5. Form small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Melt yellow candy melts according to package instructions.
  8. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball.
  9. Dip each cake pop into the yellow candy melts, coating it completely.
  10. Use black food coloring to create bee stripes on each pop.
  11. Add edible eyes and sprinkles for decoration.
  12. Let the pops set in a foam block or stand upright until hardened.
