Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Bavarian cream
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Heat milk and butter until warm. Add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  7. Let circles rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  9. Fry doughnuts until golden brown on both sides.
  10. Cool slightly, then fill with Bavarian cream and dust with powdered sugar.
