Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Add mashed bananas to the cooled mixture and stir well.
