Delicious banana donuts topped with a salted caramel glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the bananas in a bowl.
- Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix.
- Combine both mixtures and stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into a greased donut pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let donuts cool.
- For glaze, melt brown sugar and heavy cream in a saucepan.
- Stir in sea salt and cook until thickened.
- Dip cooled donuts in glaze.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Glaze can be made ahead of time.
